As a strategist, Robert has worked with more than 500 companies including global brands such as Capital One, Dell, Ernst & Young, Hewlett Packard, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Robert is the author of three books. His latest, Killing Marketing with co-author Joe Pulizzi, was published by McGraw Hill in September 2017. He is also an early-stage investor and advisor to a number of technology startups, serving on the advisory boards of a number of companies, such as Akoonu, DivvyHQ and Tint.

Previously, I served as VP of Content Marketing for UBM’s Technology portfolio, providing strategic guidance on content development, content optimization, audience engagement, and go-to-market platforms for our technology clients. I’ve worked for UBM, which is now owned by Informa, for more than two decades, helping shape new multimedia content and event offerings.
