Title: Evolving The Evolution – Marketers Rise
Date: Wednesday, December 16, 2020
Time: 11:30 AM Eastern Standard Time
Duration: 30 minutes

Summary

2020 is a strange year. If businesses were under the impression that digital marketing was changing fast in 2019, 2020 just said “hold my beer.” The acceleration of change in the way marketers use content to drive demand has been exponential this year. We have seen not only an increased pressure to create trustworthy, differentiating content, but also to increase demand. At the same time, we’ve been challenged with finding ever-more agile tools and technologies to help us achieve our goals.

We’ve got some examples of some of the best marketers in the world, and how they’ve managed to evolve in this year. But, before we dive in, let’s put some context to this crazy year – and see where we might be headed for the next five years in content marketing.

  • Is it a strategy to align sales and marketing?
  • Is it a software or platform?
  • Is it a tactic like targeted display or direct mail?
  • Is it buzzword bingo for what great B2B marketers have been doing for decades?
